ChooseTheStack is designed to separate commercial relationships from editorial and recommendation quality.

Current commercial status

ChooseTheStack currently has no affiliate partnerships, paid placements or sponsored ranking relationships. Outbound links to software providers are ordinary vendor links unless clearly stated otherwise.

Future affiliate relationships

If ChooseTheStack introduces affiliate links in the future, those commercial relationships will be disclosed clearly and close to the relevant commercial link. A commission would not increase a product’s Fit Score, ranking or recommendation priority.

How commercial relationships affect recommendations

Affiliate commissions do not influence Fit Scores, rankings, Finder results or Stack Builder recommendations. Commercial and affiliate fields are kept outside the recommendation logic. A product can be included and recommended without an affiliate relationship, and an affiliate relationship does not guarantee inclusion, a higher score or more prominent placement.

How future affiliate links will be disclosed

If a product CTA later uses an affiliate link, ChooseTheStack will place a clear commission disclosure close to that link and mark the link technically as sponsored where appropriate.

Paid placement and sponsored content

ChooseTheStack does not sell higher Fit Scores or paid positions inside its recommendation calculations. If sponsored editorial or advertising formats are introduced in the future, they should be clearly labeled and kept distinct from independent recommendations.

Pricing and product information

Software pricing, packaging and availability can change. ChooseTheStack records verification dates and aims to keep structured data current, but users should confirm current commercial terms on the provider’s website before purchasing.

Editorial corrections

If you believe product data or an editorial statement is inaccurate, use the contact details published in the Legal Notice to request a correction. Corrections should be evaluated on evidence, not commercial status.
